Applied Behavior Analysis

At Santiago & Friends, our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program provides a structured, supportive environment where children with autism build skills with confidence and encouragement. From the moment they arrive, every interaction is intentional — designed to strengthen communication, social engagement, independence, and positive behavior.

Our classrooms are welcoming, calm, and purposefully designed to reduce overwhelm and increase focus. Children participate in individualized therapy sessions, structured play, peer interaction, and hands-on learning activities tailored to their goals. Daily routines — from transitions to snack time to social opportunities — are used as meaningful teaching moments, always delivered with patience, respect, and consistency.

Each child’s program is personalized to their unique strengths and needs, ensuring progress happens at a pace that feels supportive, empowering, and achievable.

Our approach

Learning Through Structure and Connection

At Santiago & Friends, we believe progress begins with purpose, consistency, and a strong sense of trust. Our ABA approach blends structured teaching with meaningful connection to support every area of a child’s development — communication, behavior, social skills, and independence.

We create a supportive environment where children grow through individualized instruction, guided play, peer interaction, and hands-on learning experiences tied directly to their goals. Small group settings allow our team to truly understand each child’s strengths and challenges, providing steady encouragement and measurable progress. Every skill gained — big or small — is celebrated.

Why learn through ABA?

Children with autism thrive with clear expectations, positive reinforcement, and strategies tailored specifically to how they learn. Through evidence-based ABA techniques, we break down complex skills into achievable steps, building confidence and lasting success. Learning is intentional, practical, and meaningful.

So, why learn through Connection?

Even the best strategies only work when trust is present. Children make the greatest progress when they feel safe, understood, and supported. That’s why we prioritize strong relationships — between therapists and children, and between our team and families. These partnerships create consistency, confidence, and real momentum forward.
